Student Chapter Membership $100 US per year
Student Chapters exist to represent undergraduates or graduate students interested in the Intelligence disciplines and who are affiliated with either an academic degree program or a logical geographic region (i.e., the National Capital Region). Requirements for Student Chapters are held by the Membership Committee. While Student Chapter Membership allows full access to IAFIE materials and qualifies for discounted attendance at IAFIE conferences and events, Student Chapter Members cannot vote. Affiliated academic degree programs can be in intelligence studies or a related discipline - it is the core set of professional interests that determine the eligibility of a student chapter.  Student Chapters can meet either in person, or online and have membership beyond one university as well as be totally virtual in the case of online students and online programs.  All Student Members of an IAFIE Student Chapter will have full access to discounted pricing at IAFIE events (i.e., conferences, webinars, symposia, etc.), and full access to all resources in the Members-Only area of the IAFIE website.

Student Chapters must contribute to IAFIE in the following ways:
      - No minimum number of members.
      - Pay annual dues to IAFIE at $100/year/student chapter.
      - Each chapter should be affiliated with a university that recognizes them as a student organization.
      - Each chapter should contribute a short article on chapter activities to the IAFIE newsletter at least once per year.
      - Each chapter should help to organize and sponsor at least 2 professional lectures or symposia per academic year.
      - Each chapter should establish an online affiliation with other IAFIE student chapters.
      - Each chapter must establish and maintain a register of members and member details must be provided to IAFIE quarterly, including the student chapter point of contact, the faculty advisor, and a list of student members.

The following is required to form a student chapter:
      - A faculty advisor. Only one advisor per chapter is required to be the responsible point of contact. The faculty advisor must hold a full-time position at the College or University AND be a member of IAFIE (individual, honorary or lifetime).
      - Affiliation with a university. Affiliation generally means becoming an official student organization and whose members are students at the university or college.
      - Complete and submit an IAFIE Student Chapter application and submit a dues payment.

PLEASE NOTE: All memberships are auto-renewal memberships. You will get a notice for renewal 60 days in advance and 30 days in advance. If paid by credit card, you or your organization will automatically be charged. NOTE: Due to processing fees, we can only refund dues 7 days after a renewal, if you choose to cancel the membership.  Cancellation at the 60 day or 30 day notice time are recommended.
