IALEIA Partnership

Partnership with the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEIA)

Established October, 2019

 

On behalf of the International Association for Intelligence Education and the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts, Presidents Barry Zulauf and Shelagh Dorn announce that they have signed a joint memorandum of understanding.

The MOU formalizes the relationship between these two premier international organizations in their fields. On the basis of reciprocity, the two will offer opportunities to participate in each other's events, promote each other's activities, share resources, and collaborate on projects to promote the advancement of professional intelligence education and analysis at the local, state, federal, and international levels.

MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN
International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEIA)
AND International Association for Intelligence Education (IAFIE)

The purpose of this Partnership is to develop a formal relationship between the International Association for Intelligence Education (IAFIE) and the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEIA) that is mutually beneficial to both organizations and their members.
IALEIA and IAFIE agree to:

1. Offer joint IAFIE and IALEIA chapter and/or regional meetings in applicable geographic areas;
2. Discuss presentation opportunities in each organization’s respective areas of expertise during one another’s national meetings and/or requisite in-person board meetings;
3. Promote one another’s events to their respective membership including, but not limited to: annual training conferences, regional symposia, and other organization-wide events;
4. Develop and share resources, training, and publications that are mutually beneficial to both organizations; and,
5. Explore opportunities for IALEIA and IAFIE to collaborate on projects with other intelligence institutions and/or organizations that promote the advancement of professional education, knowledge, skill sets, and standards within the intelligence community at the local, state/provincial, national, and international level.

IAFIE agrees to provide the following benefits to IALEIA members:

1. Recognize our MOU on the IAFIE website along with a brief description of IALEIA’s mission and purpose and link to the IALEIA website;
2. Include a link to IALEIA events on the IAFIE calendar; and,
3. Extend IAFIE member rates to IALEIA members who register for IAFIE’s annual conference, national and international events, and/or local chapter meetings.


IALEIA agrees to provide the following benefits to IAFIE members.

1. Recognize our MOU on the IALEIA website along with a brief description of IAFIE’s mission and purpose and link to the IAFIE website;
2. Include a link to IAFIE events on the IALEIA calendar; and,
3. Extend IALEIA member rates to IAFIE members who register for IALEIA’s annual conference, national and international events, and/or regional meetings.

This Agreement is subject to ratification by the Board of Directors of each organization. This MOU shall remain in effect for a period of two (2) years from the date of final signature and is subject to renewal upon approval of both Boards of Directors. Both parties maintain the right to terminate this MOU at any time prior to the formal expiration/renewal date via written notification and confirmation thereof.
