Where: Marymount University, Arlington, VA 22207 When: 23 - 25 June 2015 Conference Theme: Preparing the Next Generation for a Changing World The IAFIE Board of Directors invites you to submit papers with a focus on preparing the next generation of intelligence professionals. We seek papers from those who support and are aligned with the Mission of the Association: To advance research, knowledge and professional development in intelligence education. This year the conference will be taking a dual track approach and seeks presenters and papers on both the teaching of the craft of intelligence and the substantive near-term and emerging issues that will challenge intelligence professionals the remainder of the 21st century. Specifically we seek presenters and papers in the following areas:
• Pedagogical approaches both theoretical and applied • Research initiatives • Educating the media and the public • Future trends in the field of intelligence analysis • Intelligence disciplines of the future • Nexus between intelligence education and intelligence training • Emerging intelligence issues of the 21st century • Student papers that contribute to the field • Understanding financial intelligence • International perspectives on the discipline and the profession Accepted papers and copies of any audiovisual materials are due no later than April 15, 2015. IAFIE intends to publish these materials in conference proceedings. All participants are responsible for their own conference registration.
